Come learn how the PTO is making an impact in our school and share your ideas. Your input and involvement matters and makes a difference. Everyone is welcome to join us! Meetings happen the second Tuesday of every month (check the PTO calendar for specific dates).
Back to School Meet & Greet
Wednesday, Sept. 10
7-7:30 a.m. | Cornelia Playground
This is a new event, designed for parents and students in each grade to connect and meet families from their class. Volunteer at the event.
Book Fair & Ice Cream Social
Thursday, Sept. 18
Book Fair | 2:30-8 p.m., Gym
Ice Cream Social | 6-8 p.m., Cornelia Cafeteria
The always-popular Scholastic Book Fair is coming to Cornelia. Students will have a chance to visit or shop with their class during the school day. Families are invited to attend from 2:30-8 p.m. Stop by the cafeteria from 6-8 p.m. to enjoy a free ice cream treat and visit with friends! We need help setting up the night before, help with sales during the day, handing out ice cream in the cafeteria, and with clean up after the event. Help with the Book Fair & Ice Cream Social.
Read-A-Thon!
We need volunteers to help coordinate and run the annual Cornelia Read-A-Thon, which takes place from September 12-October 3. Get involved with the Read-A-Thon.

YOUR DONATION SUPPORTS OUR SCHOOL
A $25 (suggested) contribution per family goes a long way towards providing the Cornelia PTO with funds we use throughout the year for things like teacher grants, teacher appreciation, and PTO activities and events. However, no financial contribution is required to join the PTO or participate in PTO-sponsored activities. We want all Cornelia families to participate in our school in whatever way they are able.
